Super disappointed in this company. Used them in the past - they were quick and fair. Called them for a leaking HVAC and they misdiagnosed the problem, indicating a $14k new HVAC as the solution, never followed up, and billed me. When I called to ask about why I never received a follow up to discuss the diagnosis and solution, they indicated it was their fault but took no financial responsibility, asking when I was planning to pay the bill. Of course the A/C goes out when it’s hottest! They were booked for Friday and Saturday but we were away camping anyway, so waiting for a Monday appointment wasn’t a big problem. Our tech was coming between 1 and 5 and he arrived around 3. He pretty quickly identified the problem and though a total repair wasn’t immediately available, he got the system back running and gave the estimate for the repair. Fast, professional response, but gross overcharge for the work completed. Technician fixed an incorrect wiring issue (I have NO idea how it happened, but he did fix the AC by doing it). However, it took him less than 30 minutes, no parts needed, and Sila charged over $500 because they have a fixed rate for a wiring repair. I think this is really bad business, so sadly, I will not be using Sila again, for either repair or replacement.
