Furnace inspection was quick and fair, technician was kind. But the estimate for replacing the motor and how he went about it was criminal. After looking up the part, the technician asked if I had gotten any other estimates before sharing costs. Curious, and smart about not oversharing, I said I hadn't. They then made it out to be more of a problem than prior and told me the part wasn't sold any longer and would cost $2200 to fix. The manufacturer had an updated model for $360.
