Brookfield told us when we moved in that we were responsible for the exterior insurance on our townhomes. Come to find out, over a year later, that wasn't true. We talked to many people who went through the same thing. Maintenance requests for the first year in our home were also futile; they will do everything they can not to honor them, and when they do, most often, they make things worse. It is a very dishonest and unknowledgeable organization from start to finish.
Brookfield was very responsive and communicative during the build process, and delivered us a beautiful home ahead of schedule. Bill in particular was great to work with!

Do not waste your hard earned money with Brookfield Residential. They will take your earnest money and never make the house. This was supposed to be our first home. We went under contract 193 days back. We were told that the maximum time to finish the house would be 6-7 months. Still, there is not even a finished roof and the drywall would be weeks to months away. For the last 6 month, we went to the house every week, and inevitably returned disappointed.
