We ordered dahl, eggplant (baingan bharta), chana masala and aloo gobi, along with an order of rice and another of roti without butter.We had everything made vegan and it was absolutely spectacular. The flavours, textures and quality were so amazing and delicious. So exciting to have these vegan options here in Courtenay. Just make sure to specifically let them know everything must be vegan. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly everything was ready to go as well!
I ordered Kadai Paneer, it was very useless. taste like not kadai paneer its like loot of red colour and tasteless and eating garlic naan felt like eating rubber. I will say this: the taste of the food here is not the same as before.
The service was superb. The chicken karahi was tasty. The Vegetable Jalfrezi tasted like it was a few weeks old. The bread of the naan also tasted sour. Looks like they prepared the dough a long time ago for the naan bread
Ordered the curry lamb. Food wasn't super hot when I was eating it. 4 hours l was puking my absolute guts out. Felt fine all day until I ate here.
Great place for Indian, food came out hot, perfect, savory and delicious. Nice place
