I went to see Dr. Shatz for a cosmetic lens replacement (cataract surgery with progressive lenses). I do not doubt his skills or his many years of experience; however, my personal experience left me with concerns about communication and follow-up care. I saw Dr. Shatz only once just a few days before my surgery, and that was the extent of my interaction with him. In a world where sometimes customer service is overlooked it is with great pleasure to share the AMAZING treatment I had from the front desk, nurses , doctors and every single employee that assisted me were FIRST CLASS . Thank you all so much for your professionalism and kindness you are all rock stars.
I had Surgery Yesterday. I had both eyes with multifocal lenses put in. From My initial consultation everyone was very informative and helpful. The staff gave realistic expectations. They clearly stated I "Should" see some immediate improvement, however it will take some time to heal. I should continue to see improved vision over the next several weeks to months. I have many good things to say about this institution and the main doctor. This is my second time undergoing eye surgery, and I can't say enough about them: they're excellent. This is very rare in an age where money is the only thing that matters, and people are the things that help me get it no matter what. I hope you guys continue to grow and be as kind as you can be.
