Off the beaten path and so worth it! Fresh seafood, hush puppies and great service.
It’s a tiny little place but the seafood is so fresh. We had the fried oyster basket and the oysters just melted in your mouth. The sausage and seafood chowder had a nice little spicy kick. The grouper Oscar was something you might find at a “white tablecloth” type place and was delicious. Highly recommend!
Great little MOM & POP place to have dinner with the girlfriend I have had for 39 years of uninterrupted love.
Delicious and fresh
I’ve loved BWFM way back when it was just a little fish market with the nice guy behind the counter who was happy to help with whatever I needed. I’d often stop in and pick up a quick, delish fish sandwich, or some fish to cook at home. Now, I just love everything they are doing...super fresh seafood, super nice people!
RecommendedProbably the best food we had on Siesta Key during our week long stay!!
The food was excellent, however we felt rushed as our mains were brought before we had finished our starters and the staff came over with our bill before our daughter had finished. This is highly likely due to the fact the restaurant closed at 9pm but they were quite happy for us to come in at 8.30pm. This maybe an area they need to reassess?
Phenomenal! Wish we would have discovered this restaurant the beginning of our vacation instead of the last day! Shrimp cocktail was great, snow crab Louies were gone in five minutes (lots of meat!), and the hush puppies are huge and delicious. I didn't think that a grouper sandwich could possibly be exciting, but it was the best fish sandwich I have ever had. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and reasonably priced.
