I have been a client and a volunteer at Sierrah Acres for a couple of years. I have so much respect and trust for the owner and have formed a great relationship with the other volunteers I have come to know. The environment is always welcoming and I enjoy every opportunity I get to be at Sierra Acres. An experience like no other around!
My son attended Sierrah Acres with an adapted day camp. He has autism and an intellectual disability and is scared of animals and birds. I emailed Cindy to give her a bit of information about my son and find out exactly what the day would involve, she responded and suggested we talk on the phone. Our call allowed me to ask questions and get the information I needed to prepare my son, reduce his anxiety and generally reassure him that the trip would be okay for him.
