My dog, Daisy, passed away by the river behind the vet clinic in a peaceful spot with the sound of the river flowing. It was important to not put her down in the clinic since she has severe anxiety at the vet. Maddy stood by while I cried and carried her away when I was ready, never interrupting. She is the best. The sun broke out of the clouds while I sat there as if Daisy just burst into heaven. It was completely overcast otherwise. I never would have had such a special moment anywhere else.
