SNMH is a small community hospital esp. good for diagnostic center and cancer care. The ER could use a face lift but the doctors and staff are excellent.
The Emergency Room is not a very nice place they treat their patients very rudely and they do not even care about us and some of the nurses and doctors are not very nice people either. No one comes out to the waiting area to let us know where we are on the list to be seen by the doctor and the nurses. There has been lots of times where I was forgotten in the waiting room and no one came out to get me. They are useless unless 5mg of oxy or a vicodin helps you. They are the reason there are people doing illegal opiates to get rid of acute pain.
