My wife and I are among a growing number of customers who have entrusted Sierra Nevada Builders with a substantial deposit on a pergola contract which has been unfulfilled for almost seven months now. STOP!!! Very disappointed with them, gave them two deposits in end of July for my two projects to start end of October. I been told with each call or email that my project was still in review with engineering, 3 to 4 months? Now found out today they filled for bankruptcy back in August and I am 1 of 54 other families.
Bryan SlavicIs is a very Professional builder who has loosened the reigns of construction projects to a crew of prodigal shirkers who put your project on the back burner for as long as possible. The photos of the covers they have on their website were copy and pasted from other companies web pages according to the office kid named Lil B’. #SandBagger I recommend you get a copy of the blueprints for each project. If you want to be able to have conversation with your sub or contractor, I would not recommend Sierra Nevada Builders. The job (putting in timbertech on an existing deck frame) was fine. I had a question on something that didn't look right, and I got immediate pushback. I would consider offering to pay extra to have it so it is done right...but there was no communication, just push back and messages to collect. I get it not everybody is a people person, and these guys certainly are not people persons.
We gave them a deposit months ago and now they won’t return our calls or give us any information about the status of our project. I’m starting to think we’ve been cheated.
