This eat-and-drink spot boasts strong drink, decent service and excellent food for those who like a meal with their beer. – In Short Tenaya Creek's five beers range the rainbow from ale to porter and all of them are brews worth bragging about. The porter is thick, potent, with a faint hint of chocolate. The hefeweizen is all tang with none of that odd aftertaste. The extensive menu is brimming with light dinner and lunch items, ranging from standard fare to unlikelies like hummus, which the Tenaya Creek chefs make with a def... read more
User review by cabersowl – Not a huge beer selection for an irish pub but they do have Guinness and Beamish. Sunday morning/afternoon brunch is by far their best feature. For several extra dollars over their regular breakfast meals you can get unlimited champagne, and these meals are very large including toast, home fries, eggs, and whatever your meal might have been i.e. steak. It's also a good location for other meals too. Bar wise it's not too impressive, the pub portion isn't anything special, no abundance of tv to watch... read more
My favorite Vegas brewery/ restaurant – As a frequent business traveller to Las Vegas and an avid home brewer, I have tried all of the Las Vegas Brewery/restaurants. Their beer is as good or better than any, their food is interesting and tasty, and you can get a table. I have never had poor service here--wait staff has been attentive enough to bring me another beer/ check on satisfaction.
Off-Strip sports bar offers refined touches and a sophisticated atmosphere that separate it from the pack. – In Short Sports fans stay glued to high-definition plasma TVs that dot the refined dining room decked with a grand wood trussed ceiling, an all-brick fireplace and a handcrafted, full-service bar. Business or family gatherings take place in the 5,000-square-foot private banquet space on the second floor. Menu offerings are more upscale than usual sports bars and include steamed clams and mussels, Asian-style ribs, and... read more
Finally on the North side – If you feel all great fun places are on the strip, or in Summerlin, this is a refreshing find on the North side - Yes, we in North Las Vegas like to have fun too. The moment you walk into Kavanaughs you are "beamed" into an authentic Irish Pub. Only thing missing is the accent, although I've heard it an Irish braugh or two while enjoying the Irish stew, or their great Steaks and Bar B Que
overall poor service – our first and only trip to Tenya Creek Restaurant was one of the worst we have ever had. changed waitresses w/o notice to us, food very bland, waited 15 mins for check to leave, no one checked to make sure food was ok and that we didn't need anything else. recieved bill, paid for it, realized it was the wrong bill. Spoke with Manager, he offered money back with gift certificate, not very happy about us not noticing we got the wrong bill and paid for it, then had the audacity to send the waitresses over... read more
Best wings anywhere – This has taken over our family's all-time-favorite-wings spot. Definitely the best hot wings to be found anywhere. Pizza is good too with generous toppings and there are things to do so your kids will stay amused.
