Stopped here on a whim because my oil light came on and it was the first place I could find. I went in and asked if they had the motor oil I needed and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely kind! Not only did he help me, but when he discovered he didn’t have any of the oil I needed left for sale, he combine the two open bottles they had in the shop and gave it to me at no charge. Had such a good experience! They found the problem was a disconnected air intake tube and didn't try to upsell me a fuel pump or filter that I thought I would need. Also warned me of my totally unsafe tires- I knew of the problem but don't use the van often, so it wasn't a high priority- got a great deal on the tires, alignment, oil change and battery all done in one day! Phil is great!
I ran into a big issue with my car's steering column and Sierra Car Care was able to quickly diagnose the issue and get it fixed in a few days. They were transparent about what costs would be and made sure that I could get back in my car as fast as possible. The cost seems reasonable, and I appreciate the communication from their team.
I never write reviews, but really felt the need after a few experiences with Sierra Car Care. My daughter attends UNR and with me being in a different state it is tough when she has car trouble. Phil and Jose were extremely up front and helpful with me on the phone and with my daughter in person. They understand the importance of her safety and my worries as a parent.
