The hotel is in an unbeatable location close to the bike trail , the ferry to Balboa Island and the pier. It is pricey though specially for the low price rooms since they have no view at all. It is clean and the rooms are big and confortable. The breakfast is not good so you are better off eating at the pier or the close restaurants. overall a good place for 1 night.
