I stayed at the Balboa Inn as a stop before and after a backpacking trip to Catalina Island. This hotel is the perfect place for a quiet beach getaway and it has close proximity to great outdoor activities (hiking, the beach, cycling, etc) makes it the perfect touch down point. I really enjoyed the restaurant, the friendly staff, being close to the ocean, and the fact that they were pet friendly. Would stay here again.
Appreciated for its historic character and "Old World charm".Features a Mediterranean-style courtyard, an outdoor pool, and hot tubs.
Excellent location, stayed here while visiting Disneyland. Room was clean and in good condition and staff were friendly. One of the cheaper options in Newport Beach.
