Well, summer’s almost over for my grandchildren. What with school starting on August 12th, I’m so glad to think that they had a great summer vacation. Our fifth Disney Cruise, the Treasure to the western Caribbean was so very disappointing. Unlike our two Disney Cruises on the Wonder to Alaska & our Disney Cruise Wonder in 2023 Italy, the Treasure was such a letdown for all of us, but that’s for another post. This property is located on the beach at the foot of the Balboa pier.plenty of activities for the whole family ideal for biking and water sports. Great Italian restaurant and bar Very reasonably priced. A gem!!!
The Balboa is always a solid choice when I’m in Newport. It’s close to the beach, the staff is cool and helpful, and the food always tastes great. The place has a chill vibe and feels real, not fake or fancy. Just a good spot all around.
Incredible location Tiny rooms with paper thin walls.
