I visited Sieht in Fredericksburg, VA, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The front desk staff seemed unorganized and unsure of what they were doing. Before my appointment, I confirmed with my insurance that my glaucoma screening was covered. However, when I arrived, I was told it was not covered and was required to pay out of pocket. Dr. Hudson is fantastic and my cataract surgery was successful, but the process did not go without issues. Here is some genuine advice, based on my experience: 1) Be prepared to wait to be seen at least 30 minutes and sometimes 45-60 minutes. 2) Read your portal appointment notes to make sure you and the doctor have the same understanding of what transpired at your appointment. 3) Read and understand the schedule and dosage of your eyedrops for pre and post surgery right when they are handed to you. 4) Don’t buy lots of... read more
