Really enjoyed the special meal with my wife of 45 years. Food was savory and tasty to the paste bite. Nice old historic building that has been a tavern or Restaurant for more than 200 years We had the Brussels sprouts shareable, the warm shrimp salad, Artichoke Char and 10 oz prime sirloin topped off with cheese cake shared. Our stomachs were happy along with our taste buds See photos and menu.
My wife and I have enjoyed our trips to Sidney. Always a great meal and wonderful service. Great menu with options for all.
Okay by now you guys know I rate an establishment by the level the place wishes to be. I have very mixed feelings on this place. Price point, it still needs work to be considered high end fine dining. But its almost there. When it's dark out( like it is in December after 5pm) there's no way for you to be able to tell where you're going to get in the establishment. Met friends for a Friday night dinner. Brad was our waiter, he was very attentive and friendly. I had the artic char, it was delicious. Two had the striped bass, and one had the bolognese - everyone was pleased with their meals. Dessert- crème brûlée very good! We will be back.
