DELICIOUS!!!! This place has the BEST Ceasar salad around. The cook is from the former Preno's of downtown Scranton and they were a staple in Scranton for YEARS!! I was so pleased to find out that the chef opened his own place. The angel hair pasta with Marinara is also delicious. I don't eat meat so I cant tell you much about that but my hubby seems to love everything he's ever had there. Excellent service too!

Good , nice small italian place I like this little restraurant and stumbled on this a while ago . I met the owner of the old prenos in scranton and she told me to try it cause her old chef owned it. I was really wanting to get the spagetti sauce recipe from her but she said he uses it. I liked the food, service was good. One bad part, he came up with his own sauce recipe-why do people mess with perfection I want the old prenos sauce. He explained it was an involved process to make and came up with something similar . Great Surprise From the outside you might think this was a neighborhood restaurant or bar. But, from the inside, it is a really nice surprise. Very clean, well kept with delicious food. The chef and food are simply outstanding. A great menu, but the real treat are the specials. My wife and I enjoy and have taken friends who enjoy.

Horrible! The insite smelled like smoke and the food tasted like cardboard I will definently not eat here again. I really had expected better. Ugggggggggggggggggh!

THE BEST RESTAURANT IN THE AREA The food is great... , we like to go on a Friday night nice atmosphere. I love the crab cake the special are always great with a good variety. We have taken so many people there and never had one person said they didn't like their meal. I totally agree it should be the #1 restaurant in Scranton

waz Why this restaurant isn't #1 in Scranton, I will never know....I think it's Scranton's best kept secret, the nightly specials are to die for and the staff is always wonderful! I am not quite sure where Person N had their dinner because the chef's food NEVER tastes anything but exquisite!! His sauces are amazing, soups are tasty and his brother does a good job with the veggies too!! :)

Awesome Everytime I love Sidel's. My boyfriend and I constantly bring people there because you just have to go there. Food is always amazing. Steak, pasta, seafood. You can not lose. Owner/Chef always comes to say hello to everyone, which is a very classy touch. Staff is friendly. It is always a great time.If you consider yourself a 'foodie' you should definitely check it out. As for the person who wrote the 'Horrible' review, I wouldn't put too much stock in them. They can't spell, how could they appreciate fine cuisine?

delicious! You would not expect this place to have the quality of food and service that they do if you were just passing it while driving. From the outside it looks like a house, but inside there is a restaurant with fabulous food! The decor is not too modern, but the menu is awesome and the service is great! Awesome seafood!

What can I say about Sidels Restaurant. Fantastic food, good prices, overall comfy atmosphere, drinks to die for!! And the nicest, warmest staff who are menu experts and seem to be able to give their opinion and offer suggestions from appetizers to desserts. In the age of chain restaurants, this place is a hidden gem!!! Also will cater to gluten-free, vegan or vegetarian options!!
