My grandson began taking classes about a year ago…we could not be happier with his growth. Not only has he “learned” basic karate, but has learned so much more about being the best version of himself. By being confident, doing his best, being part of a team, and demonstrating what it’s like to be “disciplined”. Having my at the time 5 year old son yelled at by the young girl supposed black belt instructor for calling her a girl because she identifies as whatever it is she identifies as was way out of line... As a young child like that if a person looks like a girl and calls them such they should in no way be yelled at and chastised with extreme anger by the person in question....this whole anger and identifying as whatever you choose to identify as is going way too far at this point in this world. This place and family is amazing!! They have helped my son become more confident, grow socially and make new friends, and teaching him new skills such as discipline, self defense, responsibility, and respect. Nicole is a wonderful person, she has helped my family several times. Her son is a fantastic instructor and very patient with the kids. My son looks forward to going to karate every Tuesday and Thursday.
