My husband had a blood clot in his brain a few months ago and we were rushed to Overlook hospital in order to save him. I was worried about what may happen the whole time there. It was a very scary moment in our family's life. Dr. Mehta was able to save my husband’s life smoothly and efficiently. To me, he is the best neurosurgeon in New Jersey!!
Came in with an acute stroke and Dr. Mehta removed the clot. He calmed my family before the surgery and had excellent bedside manner. Best stroke doctor in the world.
Dr. Mehta is a blessing! Him and his team at St. Barnabas did an excellent job while my wife was hospitalized for stroke. We were transferred from Trinitas for his expertise. He provided comprehensive, compassionate care. Truly felt like a family member treating us!
My 91-year-old dad had a fall and developed a bleed around the brain (subdural hematoma). We were so fortunate to have Dr. Mehta as our neurosurgeon at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. He treated my dad with a minimally invasive brain procedure (MMA embolization) done through a tiny incision in the leg artery with minimal sedation. I had a brain aneurysm and was rushed to the hospital but had to be transferred to Cooperman Barnabas Hospital in Livingston. What a miracle worked by the Stroke team, Dr Siddhart Metha, Dr Shapiro, and Dr Tversky. I’m in total amazement of this miracle team they did an amazing job, and gave me a second chance to live, which I am eternally grateful . Please extend my appreciation to this stroke team.
