The real deal My close friend who I came here with grew up in Hunan Province (neighboring province with somewhat similar to cuisine to Sichuan) and I lived in China for 2 years. I think I speak with some credibility when I say this is one of the few outstanding and authentic Chinese restaurants I have been to in the US. If you are not familiar with real Chinese food, come here and order something you've never had before. Frankly it's better than most good restaurants in China. On the other hand, it seems more Hunan than Sich... read more

Cheap tasty chinese Every dish we’ve had at Sichuanese Cuisine Restaurant has been great. The dumplings are especially tasty. Long beans were done perfectly. Chinese eggplant was a little too oily, but still good—just be careful with how much you eat. The prices are rock bottom and the décor is, shall we say, seedy. Close your eyes in the bathroom, it’s a little scary.

ok sichuan restaurant in Seattle The food is spicy, but not a traditional sichuanese cuisine. Since there is no any other good sichuan restaurant in Seattle, this is ok. They put a lot of garlic in most dishes which I hate it. Sichuan liang fen and ma po tofu are good. The price is cheap. The room is small, and has numbers of tables and chairs in it, Close to Microsoft's main campus. If you love spicy chinese food, this is not a bad choise. You can't find other chinese spicy restaurant in Seattle. There is a chain restaurant... read more

Chinese like in mainland China (unlike most in US) I think this is the only place in Seattle where I've had to use the little Mandarin that I still remember out of necessity - it's one of the few restaurants outside China that I've ever been to that really reminded me of eating in mainland China. I felt kind of like I was in a little restaurant in Shanghai. the food was good and although we went there too late to order a hot pot, I hear that's what they make best.

An all time favorite This is a small, unassuming place, but the food here is big in flavor. The menu is very authentic and packed with spicy Sichuanese dishes as well as less fiery items. The best thing about this place next to the awesome food is that it is very inexpensive. Some of my personal favorites include the homemade steamed dumplings, Sichuanese Ravioli (sort of like a spicy wonton), eggplant in garlic sauce (the best I've had) and Mandarin Spicy Chicken (this is so good, my cousins in San Francisco bring it home e... read more

Excellent, cheap (and spicy) Chinese food From the street, this restaurant doesn't look like much, but it's usually packed with people enjoying very good and authentic dishes from Sichuan province. Try the hot pot, or order from the regular menu- it's all great and very inexpensive. They have a sister restaurant on the east side.
