Sichuanese Cuisine Restaurant

4.3

About this business

While Sichuanese Cuisine looks ordinary from the outside, the food is simply stellar and makes this restaurant well worth a visit. The dishes on the menu contain a unique mixture of textures and flavors, such as thecrunchy and garlickyDry-Roasted Long Beans and the very spicy Szechuan Eggplant. Those who enjoy milder food will find the Braised Beef Soup a welcome addition to the table.

ok sichuan restaurant in Seattle The food is spicy, but not a traditional sichuanese cuisine. Since there is no any other good sichuan restaurant in Seattle, this is ok. They put a lot of garlic in most dishes which I hate it. Sichuan liang fen and ma po tofu are good. The price is cheap. The room is small, and has numbers of tables and chairs in it, Close to Microsoft's main campus. If you love spicy chinese food, this is not a bad choise. You can't find other chinese spicy restaurant in Seattle. There is a chain restaurant... read more

Chinese like in mainland China (unlike most in US) I think this is the only place in Seattle where I've had to use the little Mandarin that I still remember out of necessity - it's one of the few restaurants outside China that I've ever been to that really reminded me of eating in mainland China. I felt kind of like I was in a little restaurant in Shanghai. the food was good and although we went there too late to order a hot pot, I hear that's what they make best.

An all time favorite This is a small, unassuming place, but the food here is big in flavor. The menu is very authentic and packed with spicy Sichuanese dishes as well as less fiery items. The best thing about this place next to the awesome food is that it is very inexpensive. Some of my personal favorites include the homemade steamed dumplings, Sichuanese Ravioli (sort of like a spicy wonton), eggplant in garlic sauce (the best I've had) and Mandarin Spicy Chicken (this is so good, my cousins in San Francisco bring it home e... read more

Excellent, cheap (and spicy) Chinese food From the street, this restaurant doesn't look like much, but it's usually packed with people enjoying very good and authentic dishes from Sichuan province. Try the hot pot, or order from the regular menu- it's all great and very inexpensive. They have a sister restaurant on the east side.
