Chef Garrett earned his reputation as Best of SLO - Best Chef! The Chicken Wontons are "To Die For"! The same goes for his Bao Buns! I first experienced his food at City Farm SLO events. I went to his Monday night buffet for the first time, this evening. His vegetable dishes are outstanding. He knows how to incorporate exotic spices to bring out the flavor of the food he is serving, not overwhelm it. A great kitchen with soul and a sense of community. The Sichuan kitchen is captained by Coco and Garrett, creating an amazing atmosphere of SLO locals and friendly neighborhood communities. The food is amazing and very distinct from the rest of the fare that can be found in SLO County. This in turn helps not only widen the variety of food in the area, something I feel is needed, but also makes a marked difference in the approach to how we market and sell food.
