We purchased our first yacht this year from Forest at Staten Island Yachts and we could not have been happier with the entire process. From the first email to taking possession of the vessel, Forest and his team exceeded our high expectations. We love every day on our new boat and all of the adventures that come with it. SIY were a big part of making this dream come true. Can't recommend more highly!
I had a brokerage agreement with SI Yachts and was assured that the buyer would cover the cost of bottom paint prior to closing. SI Yachts gave me approval to move forward with the work and guaranteed that payment would be covered. Unfortunately, the sale fell through, and SI Yachts has since refused to reimburse me for the costs—even though they authorized the work and made a clear commitment. I’m extremely disappointed with how this was handled. I expected more integrity and accountability from a professional brokerage.
After encountering a steering problem in NY harbor, Staten Island Yacht Sales was highly recommended for repair. I understand why—their knowledge, expertise and thoughtful customer care was the best service experience I’ve had and that includes some top marinas on the East Coast. Plus, they were able to get a customized part from Europe, when others claimed it was unavailable. Service Manager Greg, Jaime and the entire staff are true professionals, plus they made us feel like family during our stay
The crew is amazing From sales all the way to service crew They go above and beyond not only sales But service and helping me achieve getting what I want They are the best Allways ask for your yacht guy Forest he’s been amazing I have done multiple boats and service with the crew They are amazing in my book
These are my opinions.. Disappointed with SI Yachts. My first interaction with them they had a boat for sale, we wanted to come see it, were ready to buy, but it seemed the broker had difficulty arranging the showing, I dont know if the boat was really for sale, if not, why they kept the listing up. Second interaction, I was considering having them sell my boat. I would have agreed quicker but they preferred me to move the boat to their marina, and required me to pay for the slip.
