During my appointments, I came in with genuine concerns about my fertility, possible pregnancy issues, and the possibility of having PCOS. Unfortunately, I felt dismissed rather than heard. I was repeatedly told to “just lose weight” without a thorough discussion of my symptoms or concerns. To top it off she seemed very annoyed and like just wanted to get the appointment over with.
