Dr. Chou is a very nice and extremely knowledgeable doctor who has been practicing acupuncture for decades. That being said, there are a couple of things you should know going into your first appointment. First, the office itself is very outdated and crowded. Best acupuncturist. Full of knowledge and expertise.
I have went to vist dr.chou thru a friend . I was very skeptical about Acupunture but dr.chou was very knowledgeable and made me very comfortable about getting a treatment, I went in for my lower back pain.... my pain was very severe I would be stuck in bed for days at a time . After just one treatment I felt a difference do I had followed thru and went back for a second treatment which I was so surprised on the difference I had felt !! Made appt online and received confirmation by email the day before. When we got there, we were told we did not have an appt. Since we traveled 45 min to this appt, we were told they would try to fit us in but they would only take cash-no debit, no credit and no insurance. Since this seemed very unusual for a Dr office appt, we chose not to stay. Be careful dealing with this office.
