Over the years, I have purchased a variety of things from Laura and her company: interior shutters, closet systems and recently, exterior roller shades. I think her company provides great service and quality products at a fair price, and I recommend Shutters and Blinds by Design without reservation.
Jose & Vicente handmade every shutter for each window in my 3 story home. They also designed a mantle that included a carved wood framed mirror to go over the fireplace. They are true Artisans in all their work. They also design and build furniture. I asked if they would refurbish the antique dresser my daughter used as a child. They painted it Ivory and it looks beautiful in my Granddaughter's room. The paint job was so meticulous we had an antique bed painted to match. It's difficult to find people so vastly talented. The brothers, Jose and Vincent have been making plantation shutters for many years. They are the kindest guys and are very talented. They also are master craftsmen building furniture and shelves. I have used them for 2 homes now. I will keep referring them.
