I have been a patient for 20 years. i would not continue seeing Dr. Shutta if I did not think he was good. he spends sufficient time talking about whats wrong and he is a good diagnostician. i see a lot of negatives about his front desk crew. i think that they are fine.

I got a Fitbit and noticed my resting heart rate was pretty high. I saw Dr Shutta who immediately asked if I took magnesium supplements. Which I did. He ordered bloodwork and recommended I refrain from supplements for 3 weeks. My bloodwork came back with an elevated magnesium level. After about 2 weeks my heart rate normalised and I switched to a calcium supplement without magnesium. I've been fine since.

I have been a patient for years and have had no interactions with him tha were anything but professional. The office staff were curt and opinionated but a vail has been lifted. They have been great. The old staff as well as the new. Met NP today and had a great appointment. As far as a membership fee goes, I'll pay it hands down. My appointment was not rushed for either the dr or np. I had my appointment next day not 3 weeks from call. They look at you when they are with you not a computer.

Used to be my family doctor for years, me since birth (27 years) and my family for longer, but their practice is horrible. They charge for things which they didn't perform (eye test-why would I get that when I have an optometrist which I visit regularly?), charged me for a copay when my plan had none, and they are rude. There's a reason in recent years that doctors and patients have left, and we suspect there is something fishy happening there. We've all recently transferred to a new GP. Avoid.

Dr. Shutta is a very good Doctor. I was very disappointed when he started charging a fee to be a patient in his practice. I had to leave the practice. I could not afford the fee. The staff runs hot & cold. Sometimes extremely nice other times, not so much. The office manager is pure rude.

What a jerk! I feel sorry for any of his staff who've been there awhile. They're still ok...his new staff are just like him: nasty and unskilled. Pretty sure there's a reason he supports legislation that limits the doctor's liability in a lawsuit. Also sure he's in bed with the drug companies since drugs are the only answer he has. No ability to think for himself and is the rudest man. Most unprofessional Doctor I've ever seen. PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY: AVOID THIS DR!

Better Question: What is likelihood of WARNING all friends, family and acquaintances to avoid this practice at all cost? VERY HIGH In first two years, I never met Dr. Shutta. He was NEVER there. After losing his amazing nurse practitioner, I guess he has been forced to come in and deal with his patient load. This is not his forte. This man is a bully who understands little about patient-centered care, listening, or being a healing presence. His ineptitude trickles down to new staff as well.

Firstly, the new receptionists are rude and nasty ?? the old staff was much more cordial and inviting. Since Dr. Shutta has gone to a membership only basis ?? he is now openly discriminating against patients who are in dire need of healthcare. I wish Dr. Shutta cared for his patients like he used too in the past. It is unfortunate that Dr. Shuttas and my family's 12 year relationship had to end in this fashion. I am deeply disappointed in how this office handles healthcare and its patients.
