This is a top lab, super modern, if you have an appointment you don't wait at all. With no appointment the waiting time is moderate. Very friendly people, but watch it the have lots of needles tu hurt you but they never do.
The posted hours are open til 430pm yet when we’ve travelled 30 minutes from out of town to arrive just after 4pm, we’re told all the staff has left for the day! We are told they close in 2 minutes (it’s now 412pm) and can we come back tomorrow? Very inconvenient and annoying (especially given current fuel prices) to have travelled all that way for nothing. Won’t bother with this lab again - would rather just drive to Vernon and receive the service we need and that our tax dollars are paying for. Very disappointed in Shuswap... read more
Great service
Wonderful service! They easily got my faxed requisition and, having arrived at 8:20A.M., I was seen within 20 minutes with no appointment. The lady who took my blood (I did not get her name) was very kind and patient. She easily accommodated my need to lay down during the draw. Afterwards, I had to lie back down twice from lightheadedness, and she emphasized to take my time and asked me questions to distract me.
