I had surgery yesterday at the Shuswap General Hospital which was very stressful, however, the entire team from pre-op to post-op made me feel comfortable, cared for and were very supportive and professional. Special shout out to the nurses - Corolla and Carla and the surgical nurse Jill. I am very grateful for Drs Wroz, Shoesmith and McGrath. The waiting room was very dirty so much dust and dirt in the floors ...garbage bin in emg was overflowing..they should be more ontop of the cleanliness since its a hospital was in to get stitches on my foot for a 3inch deep cut was worried I would get infected from the dirty floors

Nurse and staff are very nice. My wife cut the top of finger off, iv been sitting in the wait room for 6.5 hours an counting and she hasn't even gotten an assessment yet. They keep taking other people in front of us that came here hours after we got here. Iv been here 1 other time for my son due to he was having a hard time breathing when we would lay him down. he was 10 months old at the time and it took us 7 hours to see a doctor, the doctor said everything was good and sent us on are way.
