I can't say enough great things about my first appointment with Dr. Shumway! :) How very refreshing to meet a provider who listens and allows ample time to get to know his patient. I did NOT feel rushed going over my health history and his follow-up after some testing was top notch! So glad that my family found him. I've been with Dr. Shumway for about 1.5 years now, and it's been a great experience. I'm generally very healthy, so I haven't had much cause to meet with him, but it's been a positive experience. I also really like the direct primary care model where I pay the clinic directly, and there's no middleman.
Dr. Shumway is excellent at all aspects of being a doctor, e.g. from his great bedside manner, diagnosing the issue, explaining the options and prescribing the right treatment/medication.
