Kevin Shumaker of Shumaker Masonry collected $6262 for pre-paid work and supplies, and cashed this check in May 2023. Currently it is April 2024, and he has not delivered the supplies (i.e. the brick), done the work, caused damage to the property for the small amount of prep work done, which have created safety hazards, and turned the property into an eyesore for the neighborhood. We were in contract to sell our home and needed a mason to look over the foundation and chimney due to some flagged sections on the inspection report. I called the owner, Kevin, explained our situation, and he said he would come out Saturday, March 12th. What should have been my first red flag was that he couldn't commit to a time.
