Doctor Iqbal is wonderful. She is thorough and bright. She knows her stuff and is willing to listen to patient's concerns. I definitely recommend her as a rheumatologist, especially in this specialty which is often known for having providers that don't listen well to patients' concerns or getting autoimmune conditions diagnosed and treated

I cried the happiest of tears when leaving her office. She was so attentive, kind, understanding. I've suffered for over 5 years with lupus. Tests coming back only positive in a flare up. Finally a doctor who understands the complexity of this awful disease! She was willing to help me and even mentioned that if these new tests came back negative that it did not mean I didn't have lupus, just I was out of my flare up. Dr. Iqbal has been awesome. My blood work showed indications of an autoimmune issue and first visit, she ordered lots of tests. Even though those tests didn't 100% confirm a specific autoimmune disorder, she diagnosed with undifferentiated connective tissue disorder and started medication. Even though I still have flares now and then, the meds have helped so much.
