I had called ahead to tell them it was my husband's birthday & they assured me that he would be greeted with a "Happy Birthday" and when it came time for the dessert menu he would receive a dessert. Well needless to say, we received nothing! My daughter ended up going to the hostess and she just handed her a tiny box with "Happy Birthday" scribbled on it w/marker. Very disappointing!! Just OK – Food was pretty good. Not sure the my 8 oz filet was worth $34. My boyfriend had to send his steak back b/c it was not cooked right. That was kinda of annoying since Outback can always get his rare steak right. I also did not appreciate the 20% added to my bill without any notification! My receipt from the meal did not include this! However, when I checked my bank account I noticed 20% added!! The Best. – Very popular for a reason. This restaurant was suggested to us by a business client for the excellent service as well as a la carte steak menu....great city view from second story of the Westin downtown. Best service I have ever had at a restaurant anywhere--and my dad is a prof in hotel tourism management, so I've been around the block when it comes to restaurant service! Can a buddy get a table for 5?? – We had out of town visitors in for an event in Indy last weekend and we thought we were taking them to a nice restaurant. We had a part of 5 and they could not come up with a table large enough so we crammed onto a four-top with a seat on the end. This was followed by the drink order which consisted of two glasses of watered-down lemonade, which the waiter eventually got around to replacing with the real good overpriced stuff. In a word....Terrible – i would like to start off by saying I really wanted to love this place. But the poor service. The complaining waiter (he was tired), and the dirty dishes we were served on, it was horrible. The burger was tasteless, the fries over fried...if that is possible! Then when we asked for a simple item such as salt, it was stuck in the shaker....all of it, it was that unclean! I would put Shula' below golden corral, at least they can wash their dishes!

Waiter Never Arrive to Take Our Order! – Our waiter introduced himself, then never returned to take our order. We waited for 30 minutes before flagging down the hostess to tell her that we where leaving. The dining room was less than half full, and there seemed to be plenty of waiters to serve other patrons, who did receive service after being seated after us.

Steaks Tender Juicy And Delicious Served By Professional Staff – I am amazed and puzzled by the negative reviews of this restaurant. I can't believe that these other reviewers are even eating at the same restaurant as me. I dine with friends and family regularly here (at least once a month, if not more often). Astonishgly bad experience - overpriced, poor food prep, indifferent service – Went there as I was at a Customer Summit hosted by our software vendor at the Westin. Went to the "No Name Lounge" after a daily session and was told we wouldn't even be able to get a drink until at least 5:30, as staff were "in a meeting". What kind of restaurant has the cojones to do that to customers? Then, we decided to eat there and have lighter fare, as our company won't approve $40 steaks. Shula's winning tradition on the field continues at this classy steakhouse chain. – In Short The chop house's elegance is indisputable, yet there is an oddly casual spirit to a place in which the menu is written on a football and set at your table on a kicking tee. Certified Angus Beef doesn't come cheap, and the sides are priced a la carte, but the nationally renowned steakhouse always finds a way to make the cut for those willing to pay for quality.
