Crabs legs were really small, all of my clusters were missing legs and they’re wasn’t a lot of neat in them
The oysters at 42nd Street Oyster Bar in Raleigh tasted fresh out of the ocean.
They should be known for their wings not oysters. We tried the shuckin shack in Wilmington which was amazing so we thought we’d try this location out. We came for the raw oysters and we were a little disappointed. Some of them tasted okay then some would taste like straight poop with grit ( not very enjoyable) the service was okay. We felt sorry for the ONLY person in there running the bar and tables she did the best she could. Update: On my recent visit in July, my fried oysters were super over cooked (black around the edges). So disappointing. I love their fried oysters platter. Good french fries as well. And any of their fried fish. Decent beer selection. Nice patio area if you want to sit outdoors.
