Follow up: Thankfully, we found a new doctor with much more up-to-date knowledge who was able to address the medical conditions of the patient I referenced below. As suspected, it was not psychosomatic in nature and had both an organic and genetic cause. She was able to get a proper diagnosis, which has led to successful treatment. Very kind and caring neurologist. Our Family member has Parkinson’s and he has always been very thorough and careful with his assessments and analysis during appointments. Follow up and care is excellent. When our family member had increased/worsening symptoms from Parkinson’s, he immediately called to make sure he was ok and addressed concerns. Thank you Dr. Hu!
Makes up his mind on a diagnosis before being presented with ALL information. Performed a very limited neurological screening and refused to do further testing on a patient that is clearly experiencing significant disability because there was "no active neurological damage occurring." Passed off all symptoms are merely "psychological" despite the fact that all current research on the three most likely causes to the vast array of symptoms all indicate that the condition is organic and simply aggravated by stress.
