After two days of excruciating agony brought on by a dodgy wisdom tooth, on a Friday night I eventually contacted 111. They arranged for me to see the dentist here first thing on the Saturday morning. Dentist Tom and dental nurse Amanda, together with very friendly and helpful reception staff, sorted me out in a little under 20 minutes. Due to being immune compromised I was referred by 111 early on a Saturday morning due to new pain seven days after molar extraction. Didn’t think I’d be able to see anyone at all but having spoken to the staff I was seen at the Dental Surgery in Castle Foregate within 25 minutes of ringing. Examined and reassured by one of the dentists and home again by 10.15 a.m. Fantastic service by 111 and the local NHS dentist service. When the system works it works! Thanks to everyone who gave support and help.
