RecommendedIf you ever on Da West Side of Kaua’i and wanna stop for lunch an craving shrimp stop by the Shrimp Shack an eat some ono kaua’i raised shrimp. My favorite is sweet chili ,Thai,garlic,as well as shrimp tacos while my wife loves the coconut shrimp!! Reasonable prices great hole in the wall joint as well as go next store to get a fresh cold coconut to drink 🤙🏼 When all is said an done go up to Waimea canyon for a hike or go hike first and build up an appetite 😁😁😁😁
This was one of our favorite meals on Kauai. I had the sweet chili shrimp with rice and my hubby got the coconut shrimp with fries. Everything was so good. The service was friendly and fast. Perfect place to stop after visiting Waimea Canyon. Plus next door you can get an ice cold coconut to go with your ono meal. You can't lose!
Ok - stopped because it looked popular and had good reviews. Tacos were average and the first plate of Cajun shrimp was not fully cooked. 2nd attempt was better but still just average.
Nice roadside place to stop on the way to or from the canyon. I was satisfied with my coconut shrimp but sort of wish now I had tried the tacos. Picnic tables and no inside seating... it is what it is, which is good local color.

If you like shrimp, you will not be dissapointed! This is always our stop when coming back from hiking in Waimea and when we have family and friends visiting!
So delicious, My friends and I went two times in the week we were in Kauai.
Best Shrimp in Hawaii! Must go visit both location. I love shrimp and it cajun shrimp was excellent.
