A serious, thriving market with a reasonable variety of offerings. Access and parking are easy.
We enjoyed Shreveport Farmers Market. The market was well organized , vendors was very courteous and polite, especially Michael White of Michael Produce of Benton, LA., he had some nice squash(Cushaws) that my wife bought to make pies with, he was very informative about the produce. We're visiting from San Diego, CA., and have visited a lot of markets and we have to give Shreveport Market 2 thumbs up��
I love the Farmers Market! My only complaint is the handicapped parking. I see no purpose in having a kid with his head stuck to his phone checking the gate for tags. Not once did he look up either when we got there or left. I'm sure there where cars in that lot without tags. Very bad business! ��

I had been looking forward to this since the last wknd of the market last summer! Fresh berries and tomatoes can't be beat! My son loves the chocolate milk (locally made, of course) and doesn't have to be forced to go with, like many teen guys!
The Shreveport Farmers' Market is the most happening place in the area on Saturday mornings. The vendors are diverse and approachable, the offerings varied, and the atmosphere is electric! This should become a healthy habit for everyone in the area! Shop local!
