Was looking for advice on some shrubbery at my parents’ property. The ice storm last winter really hit hard. Sold us an infested tree and wouldn’t help us at all when the larvae hatched. Bought a small magnolia May 13, and invasive spotted lanternfly larvae were *everywhere* on it three weeks later. Eggs get laid in fall, but the woman at Schrekhise said it wasn’t their problem and they hadn’t heard of anyone else having an issue. No way - the tree was infested when sold. Please be cautious. The species is invasive and quite expensive to treat. And, unfortunately, you won’t get your money back or help in getting rid of the problem.... read more
Great customer service! They replaced a tree we bought from them a year ago that didn't survive the drought, no questions asked. Our new tree looks great!
