As an Antiochian Orthodox Christian, I observe fasting during the Lenten season, which means going long stretches without meat. As difficult as that can be at times, Shomar’s really makes it much easier to get through. Their fish sandwiches are incredible—especially the classic fish sandwich with tartar sauce. Absolutely horrible experience. I placed an online order and the fries were clearly listed as a side, but when I got there the owner wanted to get smart and argue with me like I was lying. I showed the owner (Andy) my receipt and he didn’t care. Instead of simply checking the order or fixing the problem, he caught an attitude and acted extremely rude and disrespectful.
