My prior experience with Dr. Shostak was he was very professional, compassionate and kind. He made a very difficult time in my life much easier to cope with. I would highly recommend him.
When my daughter had just turned 14 she and I were getting into more frequent arguments. In retrospect I was in need of my own therapy from unhealed trauma. At the time I was not aware of that and took my 14 yo daughter to Dr David Shostak for an assessment. Almost immediately at that time he diagnosed her with bipolar disorder. He is very easy to talk to. His ability to develop empathy and to reflect on your particular issue is astounding.
I had an excellent initial visit with Dr. Shostak. He listened intently to my issue and was not only empathetic but was an expert in the area. The Staff is friendly and engaging. There is lots of parking too.
Dr. Shostak is very intelligent and experienced. He was highly recommended by our family practitioner. He was of tremendous help to me and I will continue to work with him on my issues.
