First weekend retreat at Shoshoni was lovely - the cute cabin and the food and the gorgeous setting would have been enough to make it well worthwhile. The yoga and meditation were transformative. The fire ceremony was like nothing I’ve ever experienced. Will definitely be back.
Shoshoni is sacred to me. Beautiful setting, beautiful people, beautiful practices. I learn big life lessons each time I go and I’ve been a dozen times. Can’t wait to go back
My wife bought me a gift certificate three years ago. Last week, she said I was so agitated that I should book a weekend getaway immediately. So I did. And man, this place did the trick. Yoga I could do. Meditation. Hiking to a cool peak with 360-degree views. Delicious vegetarian meals. It was super relaxing, and everyone was so friendly and inviting. It's not a "fancy" place. But it's clean and well taken care of. If you want to get out in nature and be silent, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be going back.
I simply adore Shoshoni and can't wait to go back! I participated in a weekend yoga retreat and it was exactly what I was looking for. Relaxing, quiet, not pretentious or stuffy at all, and the vibes were happy and light! The location is beautiful, food is wonderful and the people are so friendly. 10/10 recommend!
I recently did a silent meditation retreat at Shoshoni and had a wonderful experience. The accommodations were clean and cozy, the food was amazing (I am still dreaming about the sourdough bread and strawberry muffins), and there was so much to deepen the silent meditation experience (yoga, art, meditation, hiking trails, etc.). I am looking forward to coming back for another retreat in the future!
