The range itself is good, but the range safety officer or whatever his title is wasn’t very knowledgeable. I was shooting my mp5k which is a pistol, it has less than a 5 inch barrel, he was upset with me for shooting on the pistol range and told me I had to shoot my weapon on the rifle range since he was convinced it was a rifle. I didn’t say anything but yes sir because I was enjoying shooting and didn’t want to ruin it with an argument, I was already there for maybe 20 minutes and the rifle range was to long of a distance ... read more

Good free target shooting place. Follow rules and enjoy. Nice canopy to cover from rain or sun. Comfortable tables to shoot from. Even a bathroom is available. Thank you whoever made this free and user friendly.

Does the range "safety" dude have an ego problem? It would seem more appropriate to focus on PR and education instead of barking at people the moment he sees a minor infraction. And the AR he struts around with? That's certainly not enough- he definitely needs a revolver on each hip. The orange safety vest doesn't seem totally fair to color blind people; just my two cents. Additionally, the rule signs everywhere: it's cluttered which makes it confusing. My suggestion would be to have one large notice with basic rules spelled... read more

The range would be a pleasure if the range safety officer wasn't a jerk with an over bloated sense of authority trotting around like a pompous peacock. It would be a lot more enjoyable if the range officer had a mind for education rather than authority.
