Worked with David from Shortbar after getting competitive bids from several providers on a panel replacmeent - his pricing was one of the best, but what differentiated David the was most was that he came off as honest and trustworthy on the work that was needed to be done. He didn't try to upsell unnecessary services or hide any fees. He demonstrated incredible knowledge on electrical panels and codes when executing the work. I'll be using David again for future needs
I needed a new electrical panel for our house. I inquired from yelp and shortbar responded with a very detailed e-mail. David came to the house and looked at the job. After the visit, he sent us an email with a more detailed plan on how project will be done. From permit to finishing the work. He explained in details. Although the job got done, as a dissatisfied customer, I must express my frustration with David from Short Bar Electric. The installation of my Tesla charger turned into an epic saga, spanning over 5 days. Not only did David take an eternity to complete the job, but he also left a gaping hole in my garage wall. I hired Shortbar to help with a home electrification project: a new induction cooktop that would help with my decarbonization goals in replacing my gas range. The work included new wiring routed through my home to reach the cooktop site and a new breaker to accommodate the new amperage.
