I recently stopped by Short Cakes at the airport in LaBelle and had a great experience. This small diner has a welcoming atmosphere and excellent customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was fresh and delicious, and it's the perfect spot to grab a meal while enjoying the airport setting. If you're looking for a local diner with great service and a friendly hometown feel, I highly recommend Short Cakes.

I may or may not have eaten here each of the three times I've visited during the past three weeks...but how can I not? Numerous menu options, great food, and service! Not picture is a coconut milkshake with their guava jelly mixed in - one of the best milkshakes I've ever tasted. Don't forget to grab a pastry or dessert before you leave. Very cozy, well-kept place. Lovely, helpful staff. The decor is modern with a rustic twist, beautiful. We had breakfast and it was really good! Opens early, which suits our rhythm of life really well. It was our first time here and we will definitely come again. Highly recommended!
