We didn’t see Shoreway Acres at it’s best due to arriving in horrible weather. If you are looking for ultra-modern, then this isn’t for you: the rooms are a little dated, the TV is not digital and the Wi-Fi wasn’t great in our room. However, the location (just a few yards away from a great choice in restaurants and walking distance to the sea and harbour) is great and the service (special note to Paula at breakfast) is delightfully old-school.

A great location and a good breakfast in the morning. The room I was in could do with a little modernisation but it was adequate. The pool was clean but if you want to use the sauna, you have to turn it on half an hour before you want to use it.

Good location but rooms very dated but clean rooms need updating as soon as possible

I had 15 guests stay at Shoreway Acres this past week, with stays ranging from 2-4 nights. Most of them remarked how kind and available the staff were, that everything was clean, the rooms were comfortable and spacious. Several enjoyed the outdoor grounds and pool. And because they booked directly with the motel breakfast (which they all said was quite good) was included in their room rate (which is in my view inexpensive and great value for the money).
