The Shoreview 4th floor has been a place for four of my private clients. The care given on the 4th floor is outstanding. It's a quaint floor with activities that take place either on the 4th floor or main floor. Sandra runs the 4th floor with kindness, compassion, and love for her residents. From the moment that we meet Leigh at the hospital for the evaluation to the first month of mom living there has been a load off my mind. She is so happy there. Heather made all the paperwork so easy to complete and understand . Leigh is there to help with all of my questions from her health to making a Dr appointment to when the hair dresser comes in. All of the staff has been very kind and helpful. I have read a review here saying the food and rooms are worse than a prison. That has not been my experience.

A home away from home. The director of care Leigh is an amazing person. The staffs are very caring, accommodating and detailed in every word. Everyone live like family and bonds so well. I learnt a lot about humanity, empathy and care in a practical form here in Shoreview. SHOREVIEW RETIREMENT HOME= A HOME WHERE THE INTEREST OF THE RESIDENT ARE PARAMOUNT

Do not use this place for respite care !!! My wife went there for a scheduled two week stay , following major surgery . After 2 days she called me and said get me out of this dump ! The place is not equipped to deal with the situation , and staff not knowledgeable in how to deal with the situation . They are severely under-staffed ,and my wife was left on her own most of the day , awful ! I used to work in a prison , and people in prison have better rooms and better food . The staff were pleasant enough , but not competent !... read more
