When first we went there server told us sit anywhere so we chose a table by the windows. The place was not busy a few were outside but after 15 minutes we had not received a menu or water we left. To be fair two days later we tried them again, this time with different server all went well except my fish was not good at all so they made me a new meal which was okay. If we return it will be for drinks only.

The Crab Cakes....OMG ! They are made right there on site. Delicious ! Fish and chips are delicious too. So far that's all we have ever ordered from there because they are so good. We will eventually try the rest of the menu...lol.....the staff is very friendly and hard working. Live music and dancing on the patio. Good times. Go and have fun ! ✌️
Well I wish could say that it was a pleasant dining experience at the Shores in Birch Bay but it was NOT. Not only did one meal come with plastic in it, half of our meals were incomplete. Also be warned if you are a table of 6 or more an automatic 18% gratuity will be added to your bill even if you are not happy with food or service, (read the very fine print on bottom of menu). On July 24 we went to the Shores in Birch Bay with two other couples. We have been there many times over the years and have always enjoyed our dinners. On this evening we just ordered the same as we usually get so we didn't need the menu. One meal had a piece of plastic in it and three of the meals had to wait for their fries because the waitress was told by the cook (new ?) that their meals didn't come with them. Love this place! Great food and right across from the beach.
I love the owner and the service is great too. My favourite is the shrimp wrap, and the fish bowl glAss of wine...
