I purchased a frame at Shores Optometry that were made by the company Izod . They were for my 16 year old . We had to pay out of our pocket $500 as our VSP did not cover a pair of glasses at that time and wouldn't for another year. So the insurance was useless my son can't see without the glasses . In an unfortunate event He had broken his glasses September the night before school started. I took the frames in on Tuesday morning as they are closed Monday morning. I've been a patient there for some 20 odd years and have always received top-notch care from Dr. Shores. When i needed cataract surgery Dr. Shores referred me to a an eye center that also was top-notch. For eye care there's none better in my opinion.

I was a patient there and there where great!Like others mentioned ,the Shores family is super nice and patient.I have changed so much from this and had a great experience.I no longer have double vision which is great!I highly suggest this place for all ages!!!Thank you Shores optometry East for helping me!

Great People! Leighton and Mary are some of the nicest people I have ever met! As the other reviewer mentioned, they treat you like family. I could not even think of going to see anyone else to look at my eyes. My family found Dr. Shores when we needed vision therapy for my son, he was the most pafient and kindest person when it came to working with my son.
