My cat passed away after routine dental surgery while a patient at Shores Animal Clinic. The vet who performed the surgery was Brenda Theodore, DVM, who was only licensed for 8 months at the time of the procedure. This took place on Valentine’s Day – a holiday for the staff, everyone wanting to get out on time to celebrate, either preoccupied or short-staffed, no one diligently checked on Robinson, his stats, or his condition from the time he got out of surgery until the time I was to pick him up - left in a cage on his own... read more
My senior diabetic Tiger cat was ill with gi upset and lethargy. Dr. Skinner discussed the plan of care with me and he kept it simple! Blood glucose which was low, sugar water and subq fluids. Tiger responded to treatment. Their CPR/Caring Professional Response was appreciated.
