We were checked into a property that was mostly flooded out, without warning. At check in at 9 am at their offices in Kitty Hawk, they let us know that the first level of the home had taken on some water in the heavy rain a few days prior, but it was dry and cleaned. Upon arrival to the home at 4 pm in Corolla, the property was flooded out, the pool didn't have an operational pump for several days, we had to walk through brown water to access the pool area and the volleyball court was also under brown water.
