I don't often leave 5 star reviews, but Jarod was awesome. I brought my pontoon in with a throttle issue, hoping to squeeze out a few more days before cold weather set in. It was a simple fix, but nothing I would have known to look for. Not only was it fixed by the end of the day I brought it in, but when I picked it up the next morning Jarod showed me how I could fix it if it happened again. That's great customer service by taking money out of his own pocket, and letting me know how to take care of it. Much appreciated!
Last year I took my pontoon in for winterization, and I was told that I needed my steering repaired. They prefaced this conversation with, "We do not pressure service, but if you do not replace the seals, you will burn up your system." I appreciated their honesty. Fast forward to now; I just got my boat back, and it is perfect. In fact, the steering is better than when it was new. I highly recommend Shoreline Marina!
Bought my first boat, got a good deal because the guy selling it gave up on the motor for unknown issues, I was just starting to learn about boats at the time. Shoreline found a rat had chewed into my harness and oil line which was hiding in the bottom of the hull. So once that was fixed I thought I was ready for my maiden voyage, but Jarod wouldn’t let me go yet because he wanted to go over the boat one last time, I begrudgingly gave in and he found my oil return lines were crumbling! Dusty came out to diagnose my boat in my own driveway. I thought this was such a wonderful thing however he charge $400 and misdiagnosed it. He told us it would be ready in a weekend, but he had to charge us overtime because they were so busy. Two months later he tried to charge me $4000 for not fixing my boat. After that he decided he would charge me $10,000 for a new motor. I pray no one ever ever uses Dusty. You’ll lose your boat and you’ll lose your mind.
